My sister-in-law, Megan, does not like her photo being taken. Fortunately, I’m sneaky, so wonderful photos like this one exist. She made sure not to sit on the cliff in view of her son due to the monkey see monkey do issue.

Sunset Through the Rain #2

The previous photo needs to be updated.  I am new to editing photos on an LCD screen and only realized today that I over did the shadows on the the First Sunset Through the Rain due to an incorrect viewing angle.  This is #2.

Sunset Through the Rain from Sandia Mountain

I took this on July 17th on top of Sandia Mountain. This is one of the most spectacular sunsets that I’ve ever seen (I keep saying that. Something about the State of New Mexico that makes for great sunsets which I love.) The Sun is setting with the rain in front of it, causing all the water to glow orange.

Multiple Delosperma floribundum blossoms

This is a photo of a few Delosperma floribundum blossoms.  These flowers are striking; I plan to add more of this plant around my house for that reason.  I used my cheap extension tubes with a f1.7 Pentax SMC-M lens to get in close on the flowers.
